Welcome to Carrick Castle on Loch Goil! This is where I retreat to, to gather body and soul together. It’s where my telescope lives, where I can look closely into the night sky and hitch my dreams to Orion’s Belt.  It lives there because I feel that having a telescope at the window of a Glasgow flat might be misunderstood and I would like to avoid a custodial sentence. A castle, lots of water, mountains and trees. What more could a body and soul ask for.
